Dr. Barbara Turner, RPT-S

Dr. Barbara Turner, international teacher, author, and expert in Jungian Sandplay, is a vibrant, inviting speaker whose knowledge is unparalleled in the field. She trained with Dora Kalff in Switzerland and has over forty years’ clinical and teaching experience. Using her case studies, in addition to the latest research, Dr. Turner uses hands-on, interactive teaching to keep students involved in learning. She currently lives in Hot Springs, AK, where she continues to teach and consult internationally.

Anne (Annie) Hoff is a Licensed Specialist Clinical

Social Worker and a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor from Minneapolis MN. She has years of experience working as a mental health clinician in community mental health centers, nonprofit programs, schools and childcare centers. She is currently the owner of Safe Harbor Counseling (www.safeharborcounselingandconsult.org) where she provides individual and family therapy, mental health consultation, trainings, and clinical program development for therapeutic programs embedded in schools and childcare programs in the Twin Cities metro area. Anne is a Certified Conscious Discipline instructor (www.consciousdiscipline.com) as well as an Infant Mental Health Specialist endorsed through MACMA level III.

Dr. Byron Norton, LP, RPT-S, EPT/D

Dr. Norton has vast knowledge and experience with children and trauma. With over forty years’ clinical experience, he is a captivating, vibrant, knowledgeable presenter. Using examples from his own practice, Dr. Norton inspires clinicians to carry on the work of play therapy with children. He and Dr. Carol Norton are the founders of Experiential Play Therapy. A former professor emeritus at UNC, he still practices and consults in Greeley, CO.

Founder of StoryPlay® Global, award-winning Play Therapist, author of eight books, and considered an expert in metaphorical interventions, Dr. Joyce Mills is an internationally recognized storyteller, consultant, workshop leader, program development specialist, and keynote speaker to medical, psychological, and educational organizations. With “resiliency” and “creativity” at its heart, Dr. Mills developed StoryPlay®, a new Ericksonian Indirective model of Play Therapy helping children, adults, families, and communities heal from trauma and disaster.  In addition to her training programs, Dr. Mills is a Co-Director of the Phoenix Institute of Ericksonian Therapy, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a registered Play Therapy Supervisor.
